Google flashes Nexus 5 with price details, then hides it again

For the stubborn disbelievers who think the Google Nexus 5 launch is far far away, the phone has been leaked through the Play Store itself. And guess what? We have a price for the device too. It was found nesting between the Nexus 7 and Nexus 10 with a $349 tag tacked to it.

But don’t bother going online to check it out for yourself. Google has been quick to put a bag over it and haul it away from eager fans. The smartphone is expected to be revealed on October 28 along with Android 4.4 or KitKat. So here’s a look at all we’ve heard about the handset until now.

What we think we know about the Nexus 5:

– The phone will debut with Google’s latest OS, Android 4.4. Obviously.
– It may have a quad core 2.3GHz Snapdragon 800 chip with Adreno 330 graphics.
– A 1080p full HD display measuring at least 4.9” is expected to take up the front.
– 4LTE, not more than 32GB internal storage, an 8MP rear sensor and a 1.2MP camera?

Engadget reports than when the 16GB Nexus 5 was still up on the Google Play Store, there was no clickable link that led to the whole product page. Only the Nexus 4 can be seen on the said web page at present.
