Finger tappers have just a reason to rejoice! FunMobility has recently announced the new update for the widely-accepted application FunMail, the Messenger 2.0. With this visual text messaging application, users can send a picture as quickly and easily as they would a plain text message.

The free app comes equipped with FunMail Media Brain, a learning system which quite intelligently scans text messages and finds the best matching multimedia messages. The new version paves the way with several substantial improvements.

“Everyday, Americans send over 4.5 billion text messages, but only 1% of these messages are pictures,” commented FunMobility CEO Adam Lavine. “This is because picture messaging is cumbersome and people are generally limited to the images on their mobile phone. FunMail changes all that, making sending fun visual messages as easy as texting.”

In addition, the FunMail app features FunReply that enables any FunMail to be replied to from any mobile device. This particular feature touts to be a significant improvement over version 1.0 where users had to often click a link to a mobile web page to reply.

Further, the software lends support to free texting, allowing users to send free texts if they wish for faster communication. Other noticeable features include the support for huge address books, and a faster, more responsive User Interface.

The updated FunMail Messenger 2.0 iPhone App is available for download at the iTunes store.
