Fring introduces VoIP on the iPhone

Fring Software After the advent of the latest VoIP technology, the iPhone gets lucky to it for the first time with Fring. After Nokia’s plan on getting VoIP on their phone Nokia 6300i, the iPhone has stepped in and grabbed this interesting software Fring.

Fring brings in a lot of messenger facilities to the iPhone with its added benefit of talking over the messenger application using WiFi or GPRS connections. The pre-release version of the fring software for the iPhone is up for use now at no charge. The full version of the software is expected to be in action later this year and Fring plans to use the pre-release of the software to generate feedback and they will act accordingly and enhance the software further.

VoIP is Voice over Internet Protocol technology which allows mobile users to talk over the internet, similarly to that of messenger services on the desktop computer.
