Insects may not appear to be cute in real life but they can be quite adorable in the new Fling a Thing HD game for iPad that released recently. The title of this offering has been derived from the name of the various protagonists called the ‘Things’, which are actually little, colorful dragonfly-like insects.

As the title’s name suggests, players have to stretch and fling these tiny creatures aka ‘Things’ in the air with the aim of collecting all the bubbles on the screen. The game consists of seven such cute flying insects that have to be guided through three different worlds by players. Designed especially for the Apple tablet, this HD app is said to be apt for all age groups above three years. It features funky, easy-to-play slingshot mechanics and graphics.

For crossing the levels, gamers have to climb higher, shoot with more force and tackle bizarre objects along their way. The catch in the title is the limited amount of shots available because of which players have to maintain accuracy while shooting each time. iPad owners are even able to unlock upgrades to boost their high scores. The colorful ‘Things’ possess suction cups for mouths which they use to cling onto platforms and suck in bubbles as they flit about.

Fling a Thing HD game for iPad by Big Blue Bubble is now available at the App Store for a price of $2.99.
