Fido rolls out LG Xenon smartphone

Fido LG Xenon Just a month back, the Canadian netwok carrier Bell had introduced the LG Xenon and now Fido rolls out the LG smartphone for its subscribers.

According to Intomobile, the LG handset sports a 2.8-inch TFT display with 240 x 400 pixels resolution. The QWERTY device weighs about 108 grams and incorporates a 2 megapixel camera with flash and 16x zoom. This sleek smartphone measures 105.5mm x 53.5mm x 15.8 mm and delivers about three hours of talktime, around 10 days of standby time and up to 10 hours of music playback.

The Xenon is equipped with 80MB of internal memory and can be expanded up to 16GB via a MicroSD card. The LG handset features embedded MP3 Player, stereo Bluetooth and allows users to customize their contacts, homescreen and applications including Facebook and Google with the new user interface. Further, it also supports Windows Live messenger and Yahoo! Messenger.

The LG Xenon can be purchased for a lucrative $75 with a monthly plan and a two year Fido agreement. Subscribers can also grab the device for $225 with a monthly plan, without agreement.
