FCC approves HTC Hero

FCC Approved HTC Hero There has been a lot of new about the HTC Hero recently with Orange UK and Orange Spain preparing to launch it in UK and Spain respectively. Engadget reports that the HTC Hero has recently passed the FCC and is all set to enter the US market as well.

The FCC states that the Hero arrives with 850/1900 MHz support. This indicates that AT&T is likely to launch the Hero sometime in the future. Earlier there were rumors that Sprint might get the HTC Hero. However, this might not be the case as the phone does not offer CDMA support.

The HTC Hero features the much-talked about Sense UI. It sports a 3.2 inch HVGA display and is optimized for the web. It also features GPS navigation, gravity-sensor, 5MP autofocus camera, digital compass, 3.5mm headset jack and expandable microSD slot. Additionally, it also features a dedicated Search button and more.
