There’s some more news about the highly awaited BlackBerry Tour. According to Engadget, it is now known that Sprint will soon release this RIM smartphone on the same date and price offered by Verizon.
The handset boasts of a high resolution display with a 3.2 MP camera. The camera has variable zoom, auto focus, flash and image stabilizer. It offers high speed internet and users can also access various popular networking sites like Facebook, MySpace and Flickr.
It offers expandable memory with microSD and SDHC card slot. It assists in managing schedules with emails, calendars and contacts. Additionally, it consist of 2100 MHz UMTS/HSPA and quad-band EDGE/GPRS/GSM support as well. It also offers 3.5 mm stereo headphones with Bluetooth support.
The BlackBerry Tour will be offered by Sprint on July 12, 2009 for a price of $199.99.
