EveryScape Eats! Application released for Bing Maps

EveryScapeA lot of time gets wasted in locating new places and restaurants. Mapping of new locations has been taken to a new level with the EveryScape Eats! application for Bing Maps. Users can now have information of their favorite places on their phones. They can interact with maps in innovative and interesting ways.

The app is first launched in Boston and will be available later this year in other major cities. The app allows users to view the interiors and exteriors of 1300 different Beantown restaurants. It gives a 3D effect to videos allowing users to ‘walk around’, giving a feel as if they were present in that location itself.

Mok Oh, founder of EveryScape, commented, “At EveryScape we strive to provide engaging real world experiences of places that interest our users, allowing them to better choose a restaurant or business that fits their unique taste or situation, and this new map app developed through a strategic relationship with Microsoft further validates that strategy,” and further said, “The Bing Map App SDK allowed us to integrate our content and get our application up and running in just two weeks, bringing the power of Bing location search to EveryScape’s visual guides.”

Chris Pendleton, technical evangelist for Bing Maps at Microsoft, stated, “Bing Maps already allows users to see the world from air or land with satellite, aerial, birds-eye and street-side views,” and added, “We are thrilled to work with EveryScape to deliver a map app that brings users inside for a truly immersive experience.”

With EveryScape, the photo-realistic experiences of cities and towns, streets and sidewalks, and building exteriors and interiors are enhanced. It helps users to browse and enter any store, shop or restaurant freely. They can gather information on various businesses and attractions helping them to improve their own. With this technology, users will experience a first-person and eye-level walking in a ‘scaped’ street.

The EveryScape Eats! App for Bing Maps is available on EveryScape’s website.
