Users across the U.S. who wish to buy the Palm Pixi Plus handset can consider this piece of information. AT&T has now decided to make the Palm Pixi Plus handset available for free with their monthly data service plans. This Bluetooth enabled handset flaunts a 2MP camera and runs the Palm webOS.

The gadget is adorned by a 2.6” screen exhibiting an HVGA display of 320 x 480p resolutions. Its QWERTY keypad is accompanied by backlit keys and the phone offers users internal memory of about 8GB.

Besides incorporating a music player, the Palm Pixi Plus lets users access e-mail through Yahoo Mail, Gmail, AOL and Hotmail. It supports a host of services offered by AT&T, namely, AT&T Social Net, AT&T Music, AT&T Maps, AT&T Address book and so on.

AT&T has made the Palm Pixi Plus available for free on a two year customer service contract. The handset is available minus the contract at $299.99. The handset is being sold with $15 per month data service plans.
