Datawind PC 7SC with free internet launched at Rs 2999

The Datawind PC 7SC has been launched in India and is set to be sold exclusively via the Den Snapdeal TV-Shop channel priced at Rs 2999. Like the other devices in the brand’s product lineup, the tablet will be offered with free internet connectivity for a period of 1 year.

The Datawind PC 7SC will offer its free internet browsing services via a prepaid SIM card in partnership with Reliance Communications and Telenor Networks. Taking a closer look at its specs, the gadget sports a 7-inch WVGA display with a resolution of 800 x 480p and a 1.3GHz single-core processor. On the memory front, it packs 512MB of RAM and 4GB of internal space.

Users will probably run of out of the latter quickly. They can expand the Datawind device’s storage capabilities up to 32GB via a microSD card slot. People who utilize the tablet via 3G or 4G services will get more advanced speeds.
