Cricket Muve Music service declared for Android Samsung Vitality

Cricket Muve Music For Samsung VitalityThe Muve Music service by Cricket Communications is all set to debut on the Android platform through the newly launched Samsung Vitality smartphone. The latest handset runs on Android 2.3 and features a 3.5-inch HVGA touchscreen display.

Cricket’s first Muve Music enabled Android smartphone equips a 3.2MP camera and enables web browsing at 3G speeds. It is pre-loaded with a special Muve Music 4GB SanDisk flash memory card which is capable of storing 3,000 songs. The handset also accommodates 1GB memory space for other multimedia content like pictures and videos. Enabled to support up to 6,000 songs is the company’s 8GB memory card that will be available for purchase from the Muve Music service.

Muve Music is among the fastest growing music services in the U.S. and we believe Muve Music on Android will further accelerate our growth and help Cricket appeal to music lovers everywhere,” stated Jeff Toig, general manager of Muve Music for Cricket.

The Muve Music Smartphone plan allows members of Cricket Wireless to enjoy unlimited song downloads, ringtones, ringback tones, nationwide calling as well as text, picture and video messaging. Furthermore, they can also benefit from the limitless 3G mobile data, mobile video, data back-up and 411 assistance. Samsung Vitality users can avail of all these services for a price of $65 per month.

Muve Music will be available starting next week at Cricket company-owned stores and online at mycricket.com. The Samsung Vitality priced at $219.99 is scheduled to be available with a $20 instant rebate.
