Comcast Corporation has revealed a new plan that will surely please its customers. The new plan called the Carefree Minutes Worldwide 300 will offer incredibly low calling rates to numerous destinations including the Philippines. It will definitely benefit users who make frequent international calls.
Through this plan, users will be offered to use 300 minutes of calling anytime to 100 countries for a monthly charge of $14.95. Amongst 100 countries, Philippines, Australia, Bangladesh, Cambodia, China, Hong Kong, India, Indonesia, Japan, Kyrgyz are countries in Asia and the Pacific. Other inclusive countries are Republic, Macau, Malaysia, New Zealand, Pakistan, Singapore, South Korea, Sri Lanka, Taiwan, Thailand and Vietnam. The 100 specified countries include 41 countries in Europe, 26 in the Caribbean, 8 in the Middle East and 5 in Africa.
Cathy Avgiris, SVP and General Manager, Voice Services, Comcast mentioned, “Our goal is to provide customers with plans that allow them to easily connect with family and friends, no matter where they live, at a low cost with premium call quality.”
Apart from this soon to be released plan, the company has rolled out numerous features and products such as the Universal Caller. Users will be able to view the information of the caller while watching a movie or browsing the web on the TV or PC.
Offered to the company’s Digital Voice customers only, this plan will not be applicable with other Carefree minutes plans. The minutes which are not used by customers will not be carried forward to other billing cycle. Calls comprise of only ones made on landline numbers and not on operator services and directory assistance. Whenever users talk beyond 100 minutes, they will be charged at regular international rates for landline termination calls. This rate will be exclusive of equipment, taxes, surcharges and other telephone charges.
