The Celkon Rahmanishq AR45 smartphone has been unveiled in India for all true-blue music lovers out there and the company announced the launch of the device in the presence of A R Rahman himself. Considering that it has been dedicated to the music director, prospective customers will definitely find his music pre-loaded on the gadget.
Apart from that, this smartphone has been outfitted with dual speakers complete with K-class amplifiers that only add to the acoustic experience. But just because it’s a device meant for music aficionado, doesn’t mean it misses out on the features that can easily be found on any other similar gadget. Users will be glad to know that the Celkon device operates with the assistance of the Android Jelly Bean 4.2.2 OS.
Crammed into a chassis that measures merely 9.9mm in thickness, the AR45 easily accommodates a decent 4.5-inch touchscreen on the front panel, while the rear side plays host to a 5MP camera featuring smile detection, video recording and more. Additionally, the Shake & Transfer application has been pre-loaded on the phone to highly simplify the task of transferring data to other devices.
It gets the ability to multitask from a dual core A7 processor that can clock in a maximum speed of 1.2GHz. There’s 4GB of ROM and it should have an option of expanding the storage further as well.
