The Benzitech iDry waterproof covers and battery charging cases for the iPhone and iPad were disclosed at the CES 2012 that took place just last week. Joining the army of iOS accessories, the Benzitech 6000 Z Charger case for iPad 2, Slider iPhone battery charging case and iWrap sheath make up this freshly unveiled collection.
The iDry waterproof cases claim to keep any smartphone and tablet secure from all forms of water such as rainfall and sweat as well as sand and it can even keep the device protected when submerged 30 feet underwater. The sheaths create an airtight seal around the gadget and are capable of floating on water. According to the company, they are apt for using while at the poolside, beach or on board a boat.
Touting to extend the battery life of the iPad 2 by double is the Benzitech 6000 Z Charger case. It comes incorporated with a stainless steel stand that lets users view the Apple tablet in landscape or portrait modes. Built from genuine leather, the iWrap possesses a flip cover that protects the screen of an iPhone 4 or 4S. It is equipped with a Smart LED power state indicator system and operates on a 1450mAh battery.
The Slider iPhone charging case runs on a 2200mAh battery and can supposedly provide twice the battery life to an iPhone 4 or 4S. Just like its iWrap counterpart, this cover also features an LED power state indicator.
The Benzitech iDry waterproof cases are now available now in shades of black and yellow, while the Slider iPhone battery charging case can be bought in white, red, black and yellow colors. The iWrap and 6000 Z Charger cases are set to commence shipping from March. Their prices have not yet been revealed.
