Bell introduces Samsung Reclaim

Bell Samsung ReclaimThe wait for the environment friendly Samsung Reclaim is finally over. True to its word, Canadian network carrier Bell has launched the Samsung handset for its subscribers.

The ‘green’ handset does not compromise of anything except for the e-waste, it is made up of 80 percent recyclable materials. The handset features a 2.4-inch display and incorporates Bell user interface. The Samsung phone sports a 2 megapixel camera and camcorder and presents Live TV streaming.

The eco-friendly device incorporates side button to access camera, dedicated email and text keys as well as 3.5mm headset jack. The mobile phone packaged with email, instant messaging, Windows Live and HTML mobile browser, can be termed as a complete networking device. The QWERTY handset offers 109.9MB of internal memory. However, it can be expanded up to 32GB by means of microSDHC cards.

The Samsung Reclaim offers 7.55 hours of talktime and up to 327.44 hours of standby time. The mobile phone is offered in two colors, blue and green. It supports GPS capabilities along with Bluetooth 2.0.

Bell subscribers can grab the eco-friendly device for $219.95 without a contract. With a one year contract, the Reclaim can be purchased for $199.95, and for $99.95 with a two year contract. However, the phone is retailed for $49.95 with a three year contract.
