The number of platforms that support mobile phone operations are on the rise, one more Operating System that adds to the list is the Windows XP that drives an innovative mobile phone from ITG. It seems that the handset derives its name from the OS, and is known as the xpphone.

The xpphone boasts of a huge 4.8” touchscreen with 800 x 480 resolution. The device is powered by AMD Super Mobile CPU and features mirror protection technology ensuring speedy activities. It offers a talktime of up to 5 hours and standby time of around 5 days. Inclusive of the battery, the xpphone weighs 400grams, and is offered in white, red, black and silver colors. The handset also sports a CMOS camera.

Interestingly, the device supports all three major 3G standards, HSDPA, HSUPA and EVDO. Owing to the patented technology of Free Core Series, the handset is capable of connecting to a wide range of gadgets including projector, scanner, printer, mouse, keyboard, television, monitor, U disk, portable hard disk and digital camera.

The pricing details are still under wraps. However, the xpphone is can be pre-ordered from the handset’s official website, via Vodafone, Orange and AT&T.
