Belkin brings its TuneBase FM and TuneBase Direct products to the Indian market. These devices enable users to listen to music from the iPhone and answer phone calls on hands-free, while in a car.
Both these devices feature an adjustable cradle that allows users to orient the device. The iPhone can be placed in the Tunebase product horizontally enabling users to view turn-by-turn GPS directions while driving. Users can also enjoy video or images on the go. On receiving a call the music fades away.
Users can also charge their iPhone in the car via the TuneBase devices rather an additional device can also be charged by means of the USB included. The TuneBase Direct is connected to a car stereo via an auxiliary input using a 3.5mm cable. By means of the TuneBase FM, iPhone users can enjoy audio wirelessly on multiple FM channels. The Clearscan technology automatically searches for the clearest, unoccupied FM frequency, ascertaining optimal reception.
These devices are made available in India via Belkin’s resellers and in large format retails. TuneBase Direct is retailed for Rs. 3117 while the TuneBase FM comes with a price tag of Rs. 5421.
