Motorola’s Android driven Cliq handset was officially unveiled by T-Mobile USA. Now Phandroid states that the Motorola UK website shows of the same handset termed Dext coming via Orange in October.
The Android driven handset packages the Motoblur solution that simplifies networking related tasks. There is a possibility of T-Mobile launching the Motorola Cliq during the same time. It seems that Motorola had announced the Dext for Latin America and mainland Europe, but the company did not reveal the launch date.
The slider boasts of a 3.1-inch HVGA touchscreen display. The handset packages a slide-out QWERTY keyboard and provides easy access to social networking sites like Facebook, Twitter, MySpace as well as Gmail. The device is equipped with 2GB microSD memory card and supports up to 32GB of removable memory.
The Motorola Dext is expected to arrive in the UK by the beginning of October, 2009. Users can pre-order via Orange retail stores, the mobile phone can also be pre-registered online from September 22, 2009.
