Job seekers can now hunt for work right from their Apple device. AT&T recently introduced the AT&T Jobs App that offers easy access to job opportunities across the AT&T network.
The app is claimed to be the first career application designed by the company to promote its own job listings. The job-seeking app presents updated data on events and real-time information on openings and company information.
“The AT&T Jobs App combines greater accessibility with up-to-date information on career advancement at AT&T on one of the world’s most popular devices. This app provides a mobile and interactive way for applicants to network and identify employment opportunities, while expanding the reach of our AT&T career portal to even more people,” commented Scott Smith, vice president, Staffing, AT&T Services.
The iPhone app will forward open positions to family and friends or a personal email address. Further, users can also locate and attend career fairs and events with AT&T personnel. They can also customize a job search by selecting personal areas of expertise. The app features ‘Jobs’ icon that allows users to select their category of interest, such as wireless, broadband or retail and search based on job title, city, state, qualifications and more.
The AT&T Jobs App is available for free from the App Store on iPhone and iPod Touch.
