Acer rolls out Android Liquid smartphone

Acer Logo Adding to Acer’s lineup of smartphones is the recent Android driven Liquid. This new smartphone from Acer is claimed to be the first Qualcomm Snapdragon processor based device in the world.

The company also proclaims that the Liquid smartphone is the first one to run Android 1.6 OS. The Acer smartphone seamlessly integrates multimedia, web browsing, social media integration and video streaming capabilities in a sleek handset.

It features High Definition capacitive touchscreen that facilitates users to experience high-quality pictures or videos. The high-speed processing capability and high-speed internet access (HSPA) of Snapdragon enhances the usability of the device with no idle-time, instant uploads of web pages and downloads of rich multimedia contents. The Liquid smartphone incorporates an optimized camera with geo-tagging, ISO, self-timer options and accelerated auto-focus performance capabilites.

The Acer handset offers integration with social networking applications like Facebook, Twitter as well as Youtube, Picasa and Flickr in the address book, with real-time notification of status or content updates. It features Spinlets application that offers free streaming of worldwide music and video, and can be shared with friends and family by means of web-posting or e-mail. The stylish device is made available in a choice of red, white and black colors.
