Dictionary.com app for BlackBerry features trusted reference content from Dictionary.com and Thesaurus.com including more than 500,000 terms, definitions, and synonyms. The app also features phonetic and audio pronunciations, spelling suggestions and Dictionary.com’s popular word of the day.
According to IntoMobile, the app has the capability to integrate with other native apps. Reportedly, the Word of the Day is made available in English and Spanish. The Dictionary.com app displays recent history that shows an editable list of recently searched words.
The BlackBerry app also supports social networking functions. Further, the Dictionary.com app offers email integration that facilitates users to instantly access a synonym or definition while reading or drafting an email. Apparently, the app is available for BlackBerry Pearl, Bold, Tour, Curve and 8800 series presently.
The app can be downloaded for free from BlackBerry App World. Seemingly, Dictionary.com app can also be obtained by sending a text to 44636 with BBAPP in the body, and the app will immediately be send to the BlackBerry smartphone.
