Anonymous social app Secret gets a total overhaul and many new features

Secret, the popular app which lets you share things with people in a completely anonymous fashion has been blessed with a major update that has finally pushed it to version 2.0. While the utility’s user interface has been granted a overhaul, it has even been blessed with interesting new features, much to the delight of those who regularly use this app.

Available now for both the Android as well as iOS versions of Secret, this update has given it a more text-based existence that places new emphasis on chat. The slow-loading square photos covered with words have hence been replaced by a consistent Twitter-like feed with snippets of text.

Another interesting new addition is the ability to converse with other users which gives the app a more social touch. These chats too will be anonymous of course, and will be opened up when users tap on any commenter’s avatar.

The upgraded version of this utility kicks in the facility to share locations as well, but it’s currently limited to a select number of colleges and schools. New filtering options have entered the application, and they now exist in the form of the form of Friends, City and School.
