It looks like T-Mobile is all set to release its first Windows Mango powered smartphone on 4G with the HTC Radar completely decked up and ready to step out. Those who’ve been following the headlines will know that the network carrier announced this smartphone as a part of its line up back in September.

Elegantly crafted with an aluminum unibody design and a silver-white hued exterior, the Radar exudes a sleek and stylish appearance. This full touch device sports a 3.8-inch LCD touch screen display with 480 x 800p resolutions.

The 5MP camera of this handset is equipped with an f2.2 lens, LED flash, and BSI sensor which allows users to capture good images in spite of low light conditions. This lens on the rear also enables video recording of up to 720p, while video calling is facilitated by a front facing VGA camera.

While the functions of this handset are taken care of with a 1GHz Snapdragon processor, it is also embedded with RAM of 512MB. The onboard storage memory for this handset is up to 6.54GB, whereas the total storage available is 8GB. It offers wireless connectivity options like 3G, GPRS, EDGE, Wi-Fi and Bluetooth 2.1.

Incorporated with a 1520mAh rechargeable Li-ion battery, the HTC Radar can survive a talk time of up to 600 minutes and a standby time of up to 480 hours on GSM. With the Mango operating system, the device gives access to fully integrated Microsoft Exchange, Microsoft Office Hub, as well as Internet Explorer 9 for an enhanced web experience.

The HTC Radar will hit T-Mobile stores on November 2. It is expected to be available for a price of $99.99, after a $50 mail-in rebate card on a two-year service agreement along with qualifying T-Mobile Classic voice and data plan.
