Dell Latitude ST

A glimpse of the upcoming Dell Latitude ST tablet has been offered in the official video posted on the company’s Malaysian website. Dell’s newest tablet is said to run on the Windows 7 OS and come with a stylus as well as an Intel Atom processor.

Expected to be made available soon in the U.S., Engadget reveals that this upcoming device is also known as the Peju tablet. The video shows that it will come accompanied with support for a docking station and feature front as well as rear cameras. According to Notebook Italia, the 10-inch multi touchscreen tablet has been specially engineered for those in fields of business, education, medical and health. It is apparently capable of offering a number of dedicated hardware and software solutions.

The ‘business equipped’ device possesses a USB port and an SD card reader. Looking quite stylish in the video, it will reportedly enable smooth HDMI connectivity for letting users view content on big screen TVs. It appears to be a lightweight tablet which comes with an integrated slot to place the in-built stylus. The video shows users easily jotting down notes and drawing with the stylus add-on on the smooth surface of the device. This slate will most probably provide a range of security options including software created especially for managing information.

Further technical specifications of the Dell Latitude ST tablet are not yet known. Details regarding its price and release date also remain unclear.
