For all the fashion conscious people, AU KDDI has recently created a new brand called iida. Well, the latest creation under this brand is a new Sony Ericsson slider phone called G9.
The G9 slider sports a 3 inch display with 480 x 854 resolution and a 3.2 megapixel camera. This phone adorns a stainless steel body with a thin coating of titanium compound. Besides few changes in exterior and display, the G9 phone replicates the Sony Ericsson Cyber-Shot S001 phone.
One of its notable features is that it comes integrated with a 1Seg TV tuner. Thus, using a mobile pico projector you can display content received from the 1Seg tuner on a wall or a screen. It supports 1x, CDMA and GSM networks. It also includes a mobile wallet and supports GPS and Bluetooth.
The G9 will be available in three colors namely black finish with green accents, titanium finish with silver accents and mirror finish with pink accents. The battery life of the phone offers a standby time of upto 230 hours and a talktime of upto 3.5 hours.
The phone will arrive in Japan in August. The pricing details of the phone are still under wraps.
