The latest addition to the Sony Ericsson Walkman series is a new device called the W205 Walkman phone. This new phone is packed with various multimedia features that offer an enhanced music experience.
The Sony Ericsson W205 Walkman phone features a 1.8 inch display with 128 x 160 pixels and a 1.3 megapixel camera with video recording capabilities. This phone integrates a FM radio that will keep you in tune with the latest music, news, sport commentary and talk shows. Moreover, you can even record tunes from the radio and use it as a ringtone. With the speaker phone function, share your favorite tunes with all.
Additionally, the phone includes a walkman player and a TrackID feature that will name the tune at the press of a button. The multiple phonebook feature helps users to keep their contacts in order. The phone also supports Bluetooth, Opera Mini Web browser and WAP 2.0 XHTML.
Sporting a compact sliding design, the new Walkman phone measures 92 x 47 x 16.4mm and weighs 96g. It comes with a 5MB of internal memory that can be expanded upto 2GB. The battery life offers a talktime of upto 9 hours, a standby time of upto 425 hours and a music listening time of upto 13 hours.
The Sony Ericsson W205 Walkman phone will be available in select markets from Q2 2009. The pricing details are not yet revealed.
