Samsung Galaxy S Samsung is all set to simplify lives with the new Samsung Galaxy S. This smartphone is the latest from Samsung and is aimed at making the user’s life more accommodating, vibrant and connected. Samsung is looking at changing the user’s outlook towards smartphones with the Galaxy S.

The Galaxy S sports a 4-inch AMOLED screen and runs on Android. It is fitted with a blazing fast 1GHz application processor which makes for great HD videos, amplified reality-content via Layer Reality Browser and enhanced Location Based Services (LBS). Users can connect to social networking sites through the ‘social hub’ and stay in touch with their near and dear ones.

Users can view photos, videos, e-books and the rest in superior quality, from various angles and with lighting touch-response, owing to the mDNIe (mobile digital natural image engine) technology. One can even record their favorite e-books, videos and view them at a later stage. Apart from the enthralling multimedia experience, users can even check for other applications in the Android Market as well as log onto Google mobile services like Google Maps, Gmail and Google Search.

Other features that make Galaxy S a smartphone are day-to-day updates on weather, news, stocks and the scheduler, ability to connect to another devices via DLAN, access to digital photo frames, table clocks, calendar, music station and comes with a smart alarm. The user is allowed to put down an idea and later decide the means of sending it. Users are also offered on-the-move texting ability and permitted to check and edit Microsoft Office 2007 documents.

The Samsung Galaxy S is showcased at the CTIA Wireless trade show 2010.
