As expected, Xiaomi has unveiled the 43-inch Mi TV 4A and 32-inch Mi TV 4A at an event in India. The pair will go up for sale on March 13 via Flipkart, the company’s website, and Mi Home stores.
To recall, Xiaomi had launched the 55-inch Mi TV 4 in India last month at Rs 39999. The new Mi TV 4A models are smaller at 43-inch and 32-inch, allowing the two to sell at more affordable rates. The former is priced at Rs 22999, while the latter drops even lower to Rs 13999.
That’s about as much as one would have to pay for one of Xiaomi’s smartphones, making the TVs much more accessible to mid-range buyers in India. The devices are mostly the same in terms of specs and features. The biggest exception to this is the resolution.
The 32-inch Mi TV 4A has a 1366 x 768p resolution and the 43-inch Mi TV 4A has a 1080 x 1920p resolution. Other than this particular aspect, both boast of LED panels enhanced by an upgraded graphics engine that promises dynamic noise reduction, optimized anti-aliasing, and better brightness and contrast.
Top highlights of the Mi TV 4A include its 20W stereo speakers, 64-bit 1.5GHz quad-core Amlogic Cortex A53 processor, 1GB of RAM, 8GB of ROM, and DTS-HD audio support. The brand’s Indianized PatchWall UI is present to showcase 500000 hours of content from names like Hungama Play, TVF, Voot, Hotstar, and Sony Liv.
