19 NTT Docomo mobile devices get ready to roll

NTT Docomo With Next Series

An assortment of 19 NTT Docomo mobile devices is expected to be seen in June and in the months to follow as part of the carrier’s Summer 2012 range. The list is inclusive of a tablet, a mobile phone for kids, a mobile Wi-Fi router and a set of 16 smartphones included in the Next and With series.

The range will be powered by ICS and work on the network provider’s Xi LTE mobile service. One of the variants will function on a quad core CPU, while 12 other models will be fueled by dual core processors. In terms of the exterior, the size of every phone has been tailored to suit specific audiences. There are devices with small screens, and then those with larger screens to serve the purpose of eReading and video streaming. 4 of the smartphones and the tablet will support the NOTTV broadcasting service.

As an added feature, potential users can avail of the Anshin Scan service that carries an alarm system warning users against unsafe sites along with a virus scan attribute. Just to render the usability convenient, there is a call center called Smartphone Anshin Remote Support that assists in operating the concerned device by sending easy-to-use steps to the screen. Most of the handsets will feature the Sumaho Onayami Support Menu that provides flowcharts and simple resources for smartphone troubleshooting. It provides tips and introduces new terminologies and content to potential users as well.

The NTT Docomo mobile devices lineup even has 2 collaboration smartphones with one of them boasting of the Anteprima brand and the other tied to the Jojo manga series. Apart from this, they arrive with built-in exclusive content as well. The roster is inclusive of the Raku-Raku Phone that provides a touchscreen experience similar to pressing keys. Owners of this handset can take advantage of the flat-rate packet service dubbed ‘Raku-Raku Pake-hodai.’ An app called Twonky Beam will be pre-installed in 6 of the phones for enabling prospective users to enjoy digital content as well as stream them onto gadgets with larger screens like TVs, or stereo systems.
