Lenovo K3 Note earns over half a million registrations, to go on flash sale via Flipkart tomorrow

Flipkart will be holding a flash sale for the Lenovo K3 Note on July 8 at 3pm. Apparently, around half a million people have registered for it already. That’s 500000 folks who are not annoyed by the need to sign up for it, an irritating trend started by Xiaomi last year.

India has lots of room for entry level to mid range handsets like the Lenovo K3 Note considering that we’re among the fastest growing smartphone markets in the world. With Android by their side, several brands including Lava, Xiaomi, Motorola and Micromax have found profit in catering to the affordable class of devices.

This is why the K3 Note will be stepping into a scene heavily saturated with alternatives like the Xiaomi Redmi Note 4G (Rs 7999), Meizu M1 Note (Rs 11999), Asus Zenfone 5 (Rs 9999) and so on. But Lenovo is already familiar with the situation, having released the A7000 and A6000 Plus in India a few months ago.

With a 5.5-inch full HD display, an octa core processor, 2GB RAM, a 13MP rear camera, a 5MP webcam and Android Lollipop on its list of specs, the K3 Note makes quite an impression for its price of Rs 9999. Flaunting 16GB ROM and 32GB expandability, it connects to 4G networks and has two SIM card slots under the hood.
