Micromax Unite 2 features Android KitKat and a price similar to that of the Moto E

The Micromax Unite 2 is a newly unveiled smartphone which has been priced at Rs 6,999. What sets it apart are three things: Android 4.4 KitKat, a value-for-money price tag similar to that of the Moto E and support for 20 regional languages.

Thanks to its Reverie Multilingual Pack, the Unite 2 is able to grant support for tongues like Hindi, Gujarati, Punjabi, Bodo, Tamil, Odia, Marathi, Nepali, Kashmiri, Sanskrit, Sindhi and more, apart from English of course. The device also comes pre-loaded with the MAd app which lets you earn money in return of watching ads.

While it runs the 4.4.2 version of Android KitKat out-of-the-box, Micromax has promised one more future upgrade as well. This phone grabs a 4.7-inch Bright Graph IPS panel garnering a resolution of 480 x 800 pixels. It is fueled by a quad core processor clocked at 1.3GHz, which is provided assistance in its operations by a 1GB RAM module.

The Micromax Unite 2 kicks in a 5MP main camera and a 2MP front-facing snapper. On the memory front, it offers 4GB of inbuilt storage which is expandable up to 32GB by means of its microSD card slot. Connectivity attributes are the usual deal, with support for 3G, GPS, Bluetooth and Wi-Fi onboard.
