It was recently found that 100 out of 6,200 Motorola Xoom Wi-Fi tablets that underwent the refurbishment process were not fully cleared of the data content that the original owners had stored. And with regards to this aspect, the mobile device manufacturing company has issued an apology statement.

Some customers who bought these Motorola devices through online retailer Woot.com between the time period ranging from October to December last year, complained that the slates still contained information that was stored by their previous users. The company stated that even though only a small number of these refurbished tablets were found to have such data, it valued customers and wished to make amends.
