Not too long ago, Flipkart made the Samsung Galaxy Pop and Nokia C5-03 mobile phones available for pre-order. The online retailer has sought to expand their range of offerings by launching Samsung’s Android-powered smartphone dubbed Galaxy Ace S5830 for Indian consumers.
Sporting a 3.5” TFT capacitive touchscreen, this smartphone is based on Android 2.2 or Froyo and powered by an 800MHz ARM 11 processor. The device’s basic features include stereo FM radio, GPS support, document viewer/editor, music player, video player and more. It supports connectivity options like GPRS, 3G HSDPA, Wi-Fi 802.11b/g/n, Bluetooth v2.1 and microUSB.
The phone has an internal memory of 158MB and comes equipped with a microSD card slot for memory expansions of up to 32GB. It features a 5MP camera with geo-tagging, face detection and smile detection capabilities. The Li-ion 1350mAh battery offers talk time of 11 hours on 2G networks or almost 6 hours and 30 minutes on 3G.
The Samsung Galaxy Ace S5830 can be purchased through the Flipkart website at Rs. 14,990 with a 1 year Samsung India warranty. The online retailer promises to ship the device within three business days.
