Zopo Speed 8 deca-core phone arriving in India on July 20

The Zopo Speed 8 is all set to land in India, a couple of months after the phone made its debut at the MWC earlier this year. The Chinese firm had made its way to India last year with the new phone’s predecessor.

It’s now planning to unveil the Zopo Speed 8 at an event in Delhi on July 20. The phone’s most attention-grabbing feature is its deca-core Helio X20 MT6797 processor. The company claims the handset is the first to carry a 10-core SoC. The phone further packs over 4GB worth of RAM and an ARM Mali-T880 GPU to get things done in a jiffy.

Even its 8MP front-facing snapper comes equipped with LED flash to light up selfies in the dark.
