A new application has just arrived for users across the globe. Zagat has recently proclaimed the release of Zagat To Go 3.0 for iPhone users. The new application integrates the latest in mobile application technology, including augmented reality.
The most recently unveiled version comes equipped with ‘Augmented reality’, offering users an interactive view of restaurants through their iPhone 3GS camera. Off-line sync update lets users access Zagat’s content anywhere – on the subway, in an airplane and even internationally – regardless of internet or mobile reception. On the other, the app’s ‘writing Zagat reviews’ allows users to write and publish reviews directly to Zagat.com from their mobile device.
Additionally, the app embraces ‘Zagat Recommends’ feature that acts as a digital concierge to filter restaurants choices based on users’ preferences. Other features include instant restaurant reservation capabilities and the ability to search establishments around the world using GPS (where available) or by choosing from hundreds of cities worldwide.
iPhone and iPod Touch users can now download the Zagat To Go app from the Apple App Store for $9.99.
