This update brings users a plethora of fresh features like the ability to make video calls and stream live video one-to-one.
Additionally, handset owners can make free voice calls to their Yahoo! Messenger friends. The low cost voice calls functionality enables users to contact their acquaintances on their landline or mobile phones. In fact they can also make low cost international calls using the Yahoo! Voice Phone Out account. With added multitasking functionality, users can launch other iPhone apps with the messenger running in the background. The new richer Yahoo! Messenger lets users send free SMS messages.
Augmenting its performance, this app allows users to add-in their Windows Live Messenger contacts in their buddy list, thus bringing all their friends in an integrated list. IM fans can connect with their friends in any way they like through iPhone to desktop or mobile app to mobile app. It sends notifications for every new message received. The app loads up on rich text and personal expressions with the help of emoticons and avatars. Moreover, it enables them to click and share photos and video in real-time.
