The app has been optimized for working on the tablet’s large touchscreen and is also marked as a companion to the television featuring synchronized news headlines, live sports feed and tweets by celebrities.
This app has a green button which has to be tapped when users are viewing live or recorded content on TV. The software will then recognize the ongoing show and give users its details, personalized recommendations and discussions to share with friends who watch the same show. Users can discover new shows as well as share what they are currently viewing with others on Facebook and Twitter. The app provides alerts on the iPad if friends are also watching the same show at the same time.
