Popular bookseller Barnes & Noble is all set to offer its Nook Simple Touch Reader and Nook Color e-readers through Fry’s Electronics, TigerDirect and CompUSA. Digital media may have a long way to go before taking over actual books or newspapers and magazines, Barnes & Noble is attempting to get us there quickly.

Measuring 6-inches, the Nook Simple Touch Reader comes equipped with an advanced E-Ink Pearl display and apparently offers a longer battery life than other e-readers in the market. The Nook Color is preloaded with various Nook Apps and arrives incorporated with built-in e-mail.

Promising to deliver an enhanced web experience, both the devices give users access to the wide Nook Bookstore which consists of more than 2 million digital titles.
