Yahoo! has announced the availability of Yahoo! Mobile for more than 300 HTML enabled handsets as well as for the iPhone. This portal enables users to stay connected as well as search information directly from their mobile phones. Yahoo! also plans to preview the soon-to-be-launched Yahoo! Messenger application for the iPhone.
With an open environment, the new Yahoo! Mobile application allows users to bring together all their favorite content and services like websites, sports team, weather, stocks and horoscopes from the Internet. Yahoo’s mobile search option helps find the desired data. Furthermore, the application lets you access emails and social networking sites, address book, calendar tools and more.

Mobile. “To further capitalize on the market potential and continue our mobile leadership, we created Yahoo! Mobile, a dynamic starting point enabling consumers to discover the world around them, stay connected through a variety of communication services, and customize content to define their Internet experience on mobile devices.”
The new Yahoo! Mobile application for the iPhone will allow users to send and receive instant messages, share photos, change status, add contacts, send emoticons and displays an idle status while you use other iPhone applications.
This new application is available in the US, India, Canada, France, Germany, the UK, Indonesia and Philippines.
The iPhone users can purchase this new Yahoo! Mobile application from the Apple App Store. However, the pricing details are not yet announced.
