Wirefly puts up T-Mobile Sidekick 4G for pre-order

Wirefly Sidekick 4G Not too long ago, Radio Shack revealed that it would start retailing the T-Mobile Sidekick 4G smartphone starting from April 20. Extending its availability, Wirefly has officially put up the T-Mobile Sidekick 4G for pre-order through its website.

Built by Samsung, the stylish Sidekick 4G showcases a 3.5” WVGA touchscreen display. It exhibits a new ‘pop-tilt’ hinge construct which reveals a five row full physical QWERTY keypad for quick text input. The handset jackets a front-facing VGA camera and comes pre-loaded with a Video Chat app powered by Qik. It is powered by the Google’s Android 2.2 or Froyo OS.

The Sidekick 4G uses a Cortex A8 Hummingbird processor clocked at 1GHz. It is designed to offer heightened messaging capabilities due to inclusion of applications like group text and cloud text. The phone provides social networking enthusiasts with quick access to websites such as Facebook or Twitter via deep SNS integration. It can be picked up in elegant matte black and pearl magenta shades.

The T-Mobile Sidekick 4G is now available for pre-order through Wirefly at $79.99 after an instant discount and with a two-year agreement. It can be ordered without any plan for $459.99.
