Soon after foraying into mobile markets the world over with smartphones like the Incredible S, Wildfire S and Desire S, HTC will be spotted shipping a new 4G offering. The company has officially unveiled its latest handset dubbed HTC Sensation 4G equipped with HTC’s Watch video service on T-Mobile’s network.

The HTC Sensation 4G sports rounded edges and an aluminum unibody construct which lends it an elegant appearance. It showcases a 4.3” qHD display that renders an overall better multimedia viewing experience. The touchscreen surface is shielded against external damages by a contoured screen.

“Consumers have quickly transformed smartphones into consumer lifestyle hubs that are pocket-sized entertainment centers that enable people to take their favorite multimedia content with them wherever they go. The new HTC Watch service makes it fun and easy for people to access premium movies and TV shows while on the go,” shared Peter Chou, CEO, HTC. “The HTC Sensation 4G combines this great multimedia experience within the latest HTC Sense experience in a premium device that delivers a powerful and unprecedented smartphone to our customers.”

The handset is powered by a dual-core Qualcomm Snapdragon processor clocked at 1.2GHz to deliver all round faster performance. It integrates the latest HTC Sense experience for providing users with smooth UI interaction and several new improvements. The Sensation is embedded with an 8MP camera capable of recording 1080p resolution HD videos.

“The HTC Sensation 4G delivers the ultimate in speed and entertainment on America’s Largest 4G network,” commented Andrew Sherrard, senior vice president of marketing for T-Mobile. “With a lightning-fast dual core processor and 4G speeds, customers will experience the difference when accessing rich media and content on the HTC Sensation 4G’s beautiful qHD display. We look forward to adding the HTC Sensation 4G to our industry-leading lineup of 4G smartphones.”

The device will come equipped with a new Video Trimmer tool, that enables seamless cropping of captured clips to desired size for easy uploading. It features a customizable active lockscreen experience for quick accessibility to most frequently employed functions like making calls, clicking pictures and more.

HTC Watch, a pre-installed app on the gadget, provides owners with instant access to an entire library of movies and TV shows. This application utilizes an innovative download technology to allow premature viewing of videos without users having to wait for the large file to finish downloading.

The HTC Sensation 4G smartphone is anticipated to be released across the U.S. through T-Mobile later this summer.
