According to the Boy Genius Report, a demo video of the working of the final, completed, Window Phone Mobile OS, previously called the Windows Mobile 6.5 OS is now available. This OS was shown running on an HTC Touch Diamond 2.
The latest OS from Microsoft possesses a user interface that is quite like the one possessed by Zune. In the video, Marketplace for Windows Phone was also captured on tape. Other things demonstrated in the video were the free MyPhone sync service and Microsoft Tag. Additionally, there are many other features in this OS that will be a treat for WinMo fans. However, browsing was found to be a bit slow.
This OS is henceforth going to be known as Windows Phone. This is being done to avoid confusion caused due to various versions of Windows Mobile such as WinMo 6.1, WinMo 6.5 which maybe more confusing when version 7 is launched.
