Windows Phone 7 devices from Verizon coming by 2011

WindowsPhone Verizon Tweet

We have already seen a few Windows Phone 7 devices hit the markets through carriers like AT&T and T-Mobile. However, the availability of Verizon’s Windows Phone 7 smartphones has been under the microscope for long. Until yesterday, the official Windows Phone Twitter feed stated that the handsets are finally making their way to the carrier.

In fact, Engadget reported that Verizon’s Windows Phone 7 smartphones might be launched in time for the holiday season. Although that Twitter link was pulled off when we last visited. The folks at the Engadget updated with a new Twitter feed which reads that the phones will hit the streets by 2011.

The new Windows Phone 7 Tweet states, “Verizon is a valued partner and we look forward to seeing Windows Phone 7 devices in their stores in 2011.”

Well, from all this tweeting one thing is for sure that the CDMA Windows Phone 7 handsets will not be here in time for Christmas. This almost brings us back to square one as we attempt to figure out when these beauties will officially be released.
