Mark/Space had previously introduced the Missing Sync for the iPhone and now they have publicized the immediate availability of The Missing Sync for Palm Pre, Windows XP and Windows Vista.
Users can now transfer and synchronize information and files between Palm Pre and Windows applications including Microsoft Outlook, Windows Media Player, iTunes and Explorer. With the help of Wi-Fi or Bluetooth capabilities of the handset, users can sync contacts between the Pre and PC automatically and wirelessly.
Further, even multimedia files can also be transferred effortlessly via the Missing Sync. Users can transmit iTunes and Windows Media Player music playlists, ringtones, Microsoft Explorer bookmarks, photos and videos via a USB cable. With the FolderSync functionality, users can copy folders of files and documents like PDF, Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint from a Windows PC to the Palm Pre.
The Missing Sync for Palm Pre is available for Windows XP, Windows Vista and Mac OS X from the Mark/Space online store for $39.95. Mark/Space product owners can crossgrade to The Missing Sync for Palm Pre for $29.95. Currently, it is available in English and French. The company is also planning an upgrade that will present two-way Outlook calendar sync, and synchronization of notes and tasks.
