Wickedleak Wammy One octa core device debuts in India at Rs 7990

The Wickedleak Wammy One has been launched in India carrying a price tag of just Rs 7990 and for the said amount, you get a lot of great features on paper including octa core performance. The phone also has Android 4.4 KitKat aboard and it’s said to come preloaded with Google’s Material Design apps which include the updated Play Store, Gmail and Maps amongst others.

The Wickedleak Wammy One isn’t an Android One smartphone, just to make things clear. It’s one of the cheapest handsets on the market to offer an octa core processor and the chipset is from MediaTek with Mali 450 graphics. However, the company hasn’t disclosed the clock speed of the SOC which is most likely 1.4GHz.

Where the smartphone disappoints is in the display department. The screen which is a 5-inch IPS LCD with Dragon Trail Glass offers qHD visuals, while other handsets from Wickedleak have managed to deliver at least HD resolution in the same category.
