Closely following the launch of the Sensation XE in India, online retailer Letsbuy is now offering the HTC Sensation XL for pre-order. Just like the XE, this smartphone is also integrated with Beats Audio and ships with a headset designed in collaboration with Dr. Dre.
The serene white handset is graced by a 4.7-inch capacitive touchscreen with 480 x 800p resolutions, which greets users with the HTC Sense UI. Otherwise, most functions of this phone run with the help of the Gingerbread OS. It is also embedded with a 1.5GHz dual core processor along with 768MB RAM and 16GB internal storage. Its storage memory is expandable up to 32GB by means of a microSD card.
An 8MP camera with an f2.2 lens, equipped with dual LED flash and a BSI sensor adorns the rear of this device. For users who are not satisfied with this, the phone also comes with a front facing 1.3MP camera for video calling purposes. It measures 132.5 x 70.7 x 9.9 millimeters and weighs approximately 162 grams.
Integrated with a 1600mAh lithium-ion battery, the Sensation XL survives standby time of up to 360 hours and talk time of about 710 minutes, both on GSM networks. The wireless connectivity options offered by this handset include GPRS, EDGE, 3G, WLAN, Bluetooth, and more. It can also be connected to other systems with the help of its microUSB port.
The white HTC Sensation XL price tag for India reads Rs. 38,799 and it is expected to ship by the first week of December.
