Vodafone UK set to launch Apple iPhone 3GS

Apple iPhone 3GS After continually trying to ship the Apple iPhone 3GS to the UK, Vodafone is believed to join the race with Orange and T-Mobile. The network operator shows interest in challenging the O2 and Apple exclusive deal, according to Guardian.

Reportedly, Andy Halford, Chief Financial of Vodafone mentioned that the company is looking forward to making the iPhone 3GS available across its UK retail channels. It is already launched in 11 countries but not in the UK until now.

Apple had earlier announced that it shipped nearly a million iPhone 3GS devices in merely three days after the launch. This brand new device claims to be the fastest and most powerful iPhone marketed till date. It is packed with several novel features and interesting functionalities.

The device possesses a 3 megapixel camera, video recording capabilities in addition to handsfree voice control. Being two times faster than the usual iPhone 3G model, it operates on the 3.0 Operating System.

It seems that more network providers are looking forward to expand their smartphone market. However, in the current scenario, all eyes are laid on the exclusive contract between O2 and Apple.
