Vodafone rolls out Vodafone 360 mobile internet services

Vodafone Logo Connectivity has become a necessity across the globe. Keeping up with the increasing needs, Vodafone recently introduced Vodafone 360, a novel collection of internet services for the mobile phones and PC.

The innovative service will enable subscribers to integrate customer’s contacts, status updates and messaging services at a single place. They can also share their favorite music choices and physical location with their chosen group of friends.

“Vodafone 360 is the first service of its kind to offer customers the benefits of a truly integrated mobile internet experience that gathers all their contacts and content, all around them, in one place,” remarked Pieter Knook, Director of Internet Services at Vodafone Group.

“The beauty of Vodafone 360 is that all the services work together and they are easy to use. Vodafone 360 enables customers’ digital lives. Customers can stay in touch and share experiences through social networks, instant messaging, email, apps, maps, music and buying digital content on their mobile bill, with the personalized address book at its heart,” he added.

The Vodafone 360 service will be available on two handsets that are exclusively designed by Samsung, catering to the needs of the network carrier. About four Nokia Symbian smartphones will come pre-loaded with Vodafone 360. Further, a part of the service will be offered to more than one hundred handsets.

The Vodafone 360 service will be initially launched in Germany, Greece, Ireland, Italy, Netherlands, Portugal, Spain and the UK by the end of 2009. It would then be followed by other countries like India, Turkey, South Africa, New Zealand and Romania and also France through SFR. The service will be launched via MTS in Russia.
