Vodafone 50p data plan

Vodafone customers in the UK will be glad to know that the company has introduced a new data plan which allows customers to surf the Internet at just 50p per day. This plan is available for all pay as you go and contract customers who have not yet subscribed for any data plan.

The company claims that this plan is introduced after considering the customers feedback for unlimited data browsing at a flat rate so that they do not worry about clocking up monumental bills while surfing the Internet. Vodafone customers can now use their mobile phones to browse various sites as they would do it on their computers.

With the new data plan, users can access their favorite sites like Facebook, Bebo, YouTube, MySpace and eBay and pass their time while waiting for a bus, traveling to work or waiting for friends. Moreover, subscribers can also check for train timetables as well as get latest information from Sky Sports, to the best in city, gig and event guides. Users can also check their webmail accounts such as Yahoo!, Google Mail and Windows Live Hotmail.

Vodafone says that Facebook, Google and the BBC are the most visited sites via its mobile Internet service. The new 50p data plan will be effective from May 1, 2009.
