Vodafone announces Voice SMS for its subscribers via Kirusa

One of the leading service providers of India, Vodafone Essar brings out a new way to reach out to your friends and family through Voice SMS. It has launched Voice SMS service across 16 circles in India. Vodafone has rolled out this service using the Voice SMS solution from Kirusa, the world’s leading provider of voice SMS. This service is available to prepaid and postpaid users for a fixed price of 75 paise per minute.

Now Vodafone users can greet their family and friends in their own voice by using this service. The users can enjoy this easy and fun service with advanced mode of communication with improved voice quality, language and emotions and also offers complete flexibility in retrievals. To use this service there is no requirement of special settings or using a special featured mobile phone. Its quite simple, users have to dial * followed by the 10 digit mobile number of the person they wish to send the message. The user then speaks for 30 seconds and then gets disconnected. If the receiver is a Vodafone user, then he will receive a text message and then he can dial 0 to hear the voice SMS. The receiver has option of replying, forwarding, saving or deleting the message. If the receiver is not a Vodafone subscriber then the receiver will be notified with a text message with DirectListen(TM) number. The receiver has to dial this number to listen to the voice message.

Now Vodafone customers can stop texting messages and can send their live voice messages to their friends filled with live emotions.
